The Mason Enterprise Center at the Prince William Campus of George Mason University, one of the most comprehensive business assistance programs in Virginia, offers an array of business services. 

The Prince William Regional Chamber of Commerce, long a supporter of bringing a business incubator to Prince William, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Center, agreeing to help promote its services to the business community.  Center services range from incubator programs for new businesses to accelerator programs that assist maturing small businesses reach the next level of success.  A look at these services and programs illustrates their breadth and potential value:

Professional Office Space: six private offices, 32 workstations and a conference room are available for month-to-month or extended period rental, as well as access to classrooms and an auditorium. These spaces are available for telework as well as temporary disaster recovery sites. If your home-based business space or office is being renovated, use of one of these work stations can be an effective and economical alternative.

Specialized Government Contracting Assistance: The time-tested Procurement Technical Assistance Program (PTAP) helps business navigate the complex and ever-changing world of contracting with the federal government. This support can include counseling as well assisting businesses of any size locate potential teammates for pursuing government contracts.

Mentor-Protégé Program: The George Mason University Mentor Protégé program supports the U.S. Defense Department’s program and acts as a facilitator for developing and sustaining effective working relationships among major DoD contractors, minority 8(a), women-owned small business and small disadvantaged business. 

Membership in the Region’s Chamber:  Mason Enterprise Center Incubator/Business Accelerator occupants receive a complimentary membership in the Prince William Regional Chamber of Commerce, with a goal of connecting these emerging companies with the established business community in the region and the variety of resources available to Chamber members.

Other services: As one of the George Mason University network of Mason Enterprise Centers, business clients can access additional services including entrepreneurial training and specialized programs such as the International Business Development program through which the entry of your business into the global economy can be facilitated and supported.
