A. Introduction
The product and/or service strategy of a business deals with how the business will develop, produce, and deliver its products and/or services to the end customer. Careful consideration must be given to:

  1. what the product/service will be offered
  2. how that product/service is different from others on the market
  3. how the business will fulfill the demand for the products/services
  4. what technology and equipment will be needed to develop, produce and deliver the products/services

B. Developing Your Product/Service Description - Your product/service description, in written form, describes each product and/or service that will be provided to the end customer. It should provide enough detail clearly describe the products/services that will be marketed. The description should include the features of each product/service and any variations. C. Developing Your Competitive Comparison - Your "competitive comparison" should identify the features that make your product and/or service unique and set it apart from the competion. The following link provides information related to a "unique selling proposition":

D. Developing Your Equipment Description - Describe any equipment the company will need to develop, produce, and/or deliver the product/service to the end customer. This includes office equipment, such as computers, telephones, fax machines, etc., production equipment, such as for manufacturing, vehicles, and office or production furniture.
