Regional Chamber Hispanic Reception Unites Business Leaders
Hispanic Reception Features Pedro Biaggi, Other Community Voices
The Prince William Regional Chamber of Commerce Hispanic Business Reception, now in its sixth year, provided more than 100 local business leaders with opportunities to build connections with one another while learning about business resources available to them through the Chamber. The event, held at Old Hickory Golf Club, featured a televised message from Congressman Pedro Pierluisi (Puerto Rico) and an appearance from Pedro Biaggi of Radio El Zol 99.1, as well as food, music, door prizes, and, of course, networking.
A common theme at the reception was the important role that the chamber of commerce plays in nurturing business success. Carlos Castro of Todos Supermarket noted that through the Region’s Chamber, he made connections that led him to his latest venture—a new Todos in Marumsco Plaza. “This will be the first Hispanic store to anchor a shopping center in Prince William County,” said Carlos to cheers.
“You will be amazed at the contacts you will make,” added Ednaline “Nanny” Concepcion of The Coqui Group, the distributor of El Don wines.
“The Hispanic Reception of the Region’s Chamber celebrates Prince William’s diversity. It is a great opportunity to network and get connected within the business community,” said Jim DiModica, Chairman of the Board of Chamber.
