B2B Tradeshow Connected Businesses Leaders

New Tradeshow Concept

Annouced at B2B Exchange

The Annual Prince William Regional Chamber of Commerce Business-to-Business Exchange, held at Cowles Parkway Ford, showcased the diverse organizations that make up our local business community.  The event gave the public an opportunity to meet people “behind” the businesses that serve our community, with samples and product demonstrations.  It also connected business leaders to one another, providing networking and an educational sales session.  The event also featured door prizes, hearty fare from Macaroni Grill’s new catering menu and an announcement about a new event.

Amongst the festivities, networking was the "main course" being served up.  “I made some great contacts at the Business to Business Exchange.  These were people that I would not have met if I had not attended,” said Kathy Ellington, Executive Director of Leadership Prince William.

Other participants concurred.  “The Prince Regional Chamber B2B Exchange produced more leads and contacts that will help my business excel into this new year,” said James Howard, owner of The Mobile Car Doc.

“Not only was the Business to Business Exchange good for my business, it was also a good opportunity to teach my team more networking skills.  Please put me on the list for 2009!” said Felicia Luibl, owner of HealthWorks with Shaklee.

The Chamber closed the show with a “Grand Announcement.”  Next year, it take its tradeshow to the next level with Prince William Expo 2009, May 14, 2009 at Foxchase Manor, from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm.  A new concept for the region, the Expo will be a gathering of commercial and government leaders from across Northern Virginia.

"Our goal is to bring thousands of decision-makers and buyers from throughout Northern Virginia under one roof for a full day of networking and sharing of ideas.  Participants will have direct access to commercial and government leaders, people who are shaping our marketplace,” said Regional Chamber Chairman of the Board Jo Ann Bell.  She added that the Chamber has top-notch educational and networking sessions planned, and has confirmed Knight Kiplinger, Editor in Chief of Kiplinger’s Personal Finance magazine and Kiplinger.com, as its Keynote Speaker.

Foxchase Manor has 7,500 square feet of exhibit space that can house 100 booths and thousands of visitors.  The Region’s Chamber is currently offering incentives to early booth registrants, including an upgraded website listing and first-choice of exhibit space.  Sponsorships will be announced on June 1.  Visit www.pwexpo.com or call 703-590-5000 ext 103 for more details on this event.
