Chamber Testified to End Transportation Gridlock
The Northern Virginia Transportation Authority voted on July 12 to activate regional funding mechanisms to provide as much as $300 million a year in new transportation funding for Northern Virginia.
“We believe HB 3202 falls short of what is needed. We know HB 3202 is imperfect. However, it is the first major initiative in years to address the transportation debacle that is a detriment to our region’s economic vitality and quality of life,” the Region's Chamber told the Northern Virginia Transportation Authority as it urged the NVTA to activate the regional funding mechanisms of HB 3202 that will provide as much as $300 million annually for Northern Virginia.
